to exchange information on a proposed Data Catalog of trusted key climate indicator data sets as a follow up action from the WMO Workshop on Information Management held at WMO Geneva, 2-4 October 2017. (
1) Review the maturity models (NOAA-NCEI, Europe, others) for assessing maturity of global data sets and propose a WMO Convergence Model
2) Propose a draft catalog of about 10 pre-identified trusted data sets for global access in support of operational climate monitoring:
3) Ad hoc Expert group (NOAA, Met Office, KNMI, NSIDC, BOM, ECMWF, GCW) to agree on the catalog of these data sets and propose recommendations on how they could be discoverable in a prominent position when using Internet engine search.
