ICT-ISS is the management team for WMO's OPAG on Information Systems and Services (OPAG-ISS). These pages are intended to be used by the team for developing documents, standards and plans for the ICT (Implementation Co-Ordination Team).

Work Priorities for ICT-ISS

Terms of Reference for the Expert Teams in OPAG ISS are set at CBS meetings. These have been translated into deliverables. Not all these deliverables have the same priority, and the priority changes as the needs of WMO change.

In general, the key priorities of OPAG-ISS are to:

• maintain the infrastructure for current information exchanges that form the GTS and enable WIS
• develop the key new functionality required for WIS 2.0
• develop metadata and data representations that are needed to ensure that significant developments within user areas are consistent with WMO standards.
