Key objectives

The primary objectives of the meeting are to:
  • Consider Resolution Resolution 23 (EC70) and Decision 18 (EC70) on WIS 2.0, and Decision 19 (EC70) on shared services
  • Review the WIS 2.0 implementation strategy, endorsed by Resolution 8 (EC-69)
  • Review the Draft WMO Information System 2.0 implementation approach (CBS Teco 2018)
  • Arrange an update of the WIS functional architecture for WIS 2.0
  • Establish a WIS 2.0 implementation plan
  • Review TT-eWIS Terms of Reference
