Informal Planning Meeting of Donors

The VCP partners and donors meet once every year during the "Informal Planning Meeting" (IPM) to discuss the projects that have been implemented, and planned projects for the next year. The VCP Secretariat reports on VCP in the preceeding year. The meeting is held on an informal basis to encourage dialogue and cooperation. The IPM is a useful mechanism to strengthen partnerships through the VCP-Coordinated as well as the Trust Fund and any other forms of bilateral collaboration. Many donors also agree to cooperate on various projects, therefore implementing certain requests more efficiently.
