The Terms of Reference for the Expert Network on Impacts of Climate Change and Variability on Aviation (EN-CCV) are as follows:
(A) To analyse the climatological variation (seasonal and inter-annual characteristics) in the location and/or intensity of jet streams, aviation hazards (including icing, turbulence and convection) and extreme weather events impacting aerodrome, terminal area and/or en-route operations.
(B) To support, in coordination with ICAO and other relevant stakeholders, an analysis of the impact of climate change and variability on airport operations, airspace management and capacity optimization.
(C) To support, in coordination with ICAO and other relevant stakeholders, an analysis of the impact of climate change and variability on airframe design.
(D) To report regularly on progress to the president of CAeM.
