This page will explain how to test metadata records for conformance with the WMO Core Profile.

Does you metadata record meet the required standard?

This tool, known as the rubric, analyses your metadata record and compares it with what is required by the WMO Core Profile and with some recommended practices. The tool is still under development. Some tests have not yet been implemented, and some tests detect errors when the style of the entry differs from that expected by the tool in a way that is not significant. Even with these limitations, the tool provides a useful summary of how closely a metadata record conforms to standard.
