Terms of references
- To assess the flood forecasting capabilities of the Members, including through expert missions to the countries, as necessary;
- To make use of the WMO Strategic and Action Plan for Flood Forecasting with the view to implement it in the Region;
- To provide support to the RA VI Members in preparation of national implementation plans and launch demonstration projects at various levels (country-specific, sub- regional and regional);
- To facilitate the establishment of a Regional Framework on the Flood Forecasting under which partnerships and development assistance could be provided and coordinated amongst the Members and the various contributing agencies while taking advantage of existing regional and international arrangements;
- Review and report to the Management Group and WMO Secretariat on the progress of the Flood Forecasting implementation in RA VI;
