Terms of references
- To facilitate the coordination with the RA VI Members in conducting the activities outlined in the Work Plan, in particular in RA VI-17 Resolutions: 2, 3, 4, 5 and RA VI -17 Decisions: 6 and 4 ;
- To support the conduct of surveys and collection of national practices and case studies, which will be necessary to inform respective decisions of EC and Congress;
- To transfer to the RA VI Members the knowledge and experience in Disaster Risk Reduction, in development of related national legislation, or in relevant development projects;
- To serve as RA VI Disaster Risk Reduction Focal Point (DRR FP) within the DRR FPs of the WMO Regional Associations, Technical Commissions and Technical Programmes (DRR FP RA-TC-TP) Group in line with their Terms of Reference, agreed by the Group in November 2015;
- To report to the RA VI MG and WMO Secretariat on the progress.
