An international workshop on wave prediction and hazard assessment in coastal areas sponsored by the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center’s Coastal and Hydraulics Laboratory, Environment Canada, the WMO and IOC through the Joint WMO/IOC Technical Commission for Oceanography and Marine Meteorology (JCOMM) was held in North Shore, Hawaii, from11 to 16 November 2007.
