Working Arrangements
The fourth meeting of the Inter-programme Task Team on Future WMO Information Systems will open at 1000 on Monday 23 September 2002 at the newly constructed conference room at the South African Weather Service offices at the Johannesburg International Airport. The office is located on the top level of the terminal building. As there are no clear indications to the office, participants will be met at the information stand in the international arrival hall. A Weather Service person will be at the information stand from 08h30 on Monday.Documents for the meeting are posted on the WMO Web server http://www.wmo.ch/web/www/WDM/TT-FWIS-3/documents.html as they become available and will be mailed only on request.
The working language of the meeting will be English.
Accommodation
It is recommended that participants stay at the Holiday Inn Garden Court Hotel since it provides easy access to the airport and good facilities at a reasonable price. Additional hotels are listed in case you are not able to secure a room at the Garden Court. Participants receiving travel support from WMO should note that the daily per diem rate for Johannesburg is US$ 81/day (about 810 Rand).

All of the hotels are in the vicinity of the airport and most have a shuttle service to and from the airport. Tom or Christa will also be available to take you to your hotel.
