AGGREGATED RUNOFF FROM SMALL CATCHMENTS BASED ON STOCHASTIC REPRESENTATION OF STORM EVENTS |
||
1. Purpose and objectives The program aims at the estimation of aggregated direct runoff from
small watersheds during a time interval homogeneous with respect to rainfall characteristics. 2. Description The program uses the probability of exceedence of the rainfall threshold and calculates the expected direct runoff over a pre-specified period. 3. Input T: Time of interval 4. Output The program results contain the following parameters: l: Poisson rate 5. Operational requirements and restrictions The program has been developed in FORTRAN. It runs under MS-DOS 2.1 or
higher. A math co-processor is necessary. 6. Form of presentation Source program on diskette and program listing. 7. Operational experience The program has been used in two small watersheds in Greece. 8. Originator and technical support The program was developed by Prof. G. Tsakiris, National Technical
University of Athens. 9. Availability From the HOMS National Reference Centre for Greece. 10. Conditions on use The program will be provided at the cost of reproduction and mailing.
