 DATA LOGGER

1.   Purpose and objectives

     For data processing, especially in the field of hydrology.

2.   Description

     This data logger is a specially designed, high capacity data processor  for use as the central unit in hydrological observation systems (water  level, precipitation etc.).

3.   Input

     Digital analog signals and contact pulse signals from up to 12 rain  gauges or water level gauges.

4.   Output

      Digital data display
      Data Print
      Digital signal...B.C.D.

5.   Operational requirements and restrictions

     The logger should be installed where there is little mechanical  vibration, no high temperatures, low humidity and no condensation.

6.   Form of presentation

     A catalogue and instrument specifications are available.

7.   Operational experience

     About 870 sets were installed in Japan in 1999.
